The Great Passion - Three Hours at the Cross
A led meditation with silence, including the Liturgy of the Cross with Bishop James

You are invited to bring your own cross, perhaps one that has a special meaning to you.

During the first hour there will be silent procession from the Cathedral, around the city lasting about 20 minutes.

Communion of the Last Supper with washing of feet

Holy Week is quite simply a supreme gift. It is the opportunity in the Christian year to invest time in praying the momentous events that lead up to Easter. For centuries Christians have observed these days almost as a time for a communal retreat. It is a pilgrimage week as we learn the way of Christ through music, silence, listening, reflection, liturgy and action. Why not commit to attending as often as possible, as if you were part of the Gospel story and join others who are seeking to come to Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life.
