Sharing Strengths Seminars - sharing successful practice from across the diocese
Afternoon seminars specifically for Headteachers and members of the school or academy senior leadership team.
Leaders are encouraged to volunteer to share ways that the school or academy has successfully tackled challenges and complex circumstances.
The seminars will be at 1.30pm - 3.30pm and repeated three times each term in different locations across the diocese.
For the academic year 2016-17 we will be reviewing, reflecting on and sharing strategies and processes for robust assessment.
Dates and themes for the seminars 2016-17
- 10-12 October 2016 Assessment; tracking, monitoring, teacher accountability, checkpoints and milestones, data collection and analysis
- 16 - 18 2017 January Assessment; 'healing the gap' how do you manage rates of progress and milestone of acheivement for all groups?
- 19-21 2017 June Assessment; applying great practice and processes to RE
